New instructional initiatives is responsible for analyzing the demand for new two- and four-year programs through surveying business, labor and community groups; developing high demand programs that create pathways for students in current LWIT programs; working with the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and the Higher Education Coordinating Board for approval of new programs. Designing the program and developing the curriculum. At the point where student enrollment in the new programs begins the program is transferred to Instruction.
