Stay Connected with Lake Washington Institute of Technology's Emergency Alert Notification System
LWIT is using a new Campus Emergency Alert system to notify students, faculty, staff, and the community when campuses are closed due to unexpected circumstances.
This system is capable of sending emergency notifications instantly and simultaneously to all registered mobile phones, wireless PDAs, pagers, smartphones, satellite phones, and email addresses. The system is also capable of posting alerts on the LWIT website, as well as on our Facebook page, and Twitter account.
