Scholarships are a way for students who may not ordinarily be able to afford a college education to receive the training they need to create a strong future for themselves. Gifts can be made to existing scholarship funds, or you may wish to establish a new category based on your interests.
Scholarships can be set up in two ways:
Annual Scholarships - gifts given in any amount on a yearly basis that go directly to a student account for tuition, fees, books, supplies, or childcare.
Endowed Scholarships - with a gift of $10,000 or more, an endowed scholarship can provide long-term support for students. The donation is set up in a separate account and interest is used each year to fund the scholarship and to re-invest the principal.
