The public is welcome and encouraged to meets LWIT's five presidential candidates, from April 22-26, 2013. All meetings will be from 2:30-4:00 pm in room W305&B on the Kirkland Campus.

Biographical Information

Dr. Jerrilee K. Mosier has served as Chancellor at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast in Fort Wayne, Indiana, since 2010. Prior to her current position she served as the Vice President of Workforce Development and Training at Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood from 1998-2010. From 1992-1998 she served as Vice Provost of Academic Affairs at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Mosier received a Bachelor's in Special Education from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and a Master's in Learning Disabilities from the University of Tulsa. She earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Ivan L. Gorne, JD has served as Vice President for Student Services, Facilities and Operations at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington, since 2006. Prior to his current position he served as Vice President for Student Services at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington, from 2001-2006. From 1998-2001, he served as Vice President for Student Affairs and Professor at Southern Oregon University. Gorne received a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Education from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in Seattle, Washington.

Ms. Amy Goings has served as Vice President of Operations and College Relations at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington, since 2009. Prior to her current position, she served as the college's Vice President of College Relations and Resource Development from 2004-2009. From 1999-2004, she served as Director of Development and Government Relations at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington. Goings received a Bachelor's in History from Mills College in Oakland, California, and a Master's in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College in Olympia. She is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Administration at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

Dr. Richard Penny has served as Vice Chancellor for Advancement and External Relations at the University of Washington Bothell since 2008. Prior to his current position, he served as Interim Executive Director of Advancement at Seattle Community College District and Interim Executive Director at the Seattle Community College District Foundation from 2007-2008. From 2003-2007 he served as Executive Director of Fund Development at Seattle Community College and Executive Director at South Seattle Community College Foundation and South Seattle Community College. Dr. Penny received a Bachelor's in Psychology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a Master's in Business Administration from City University in Seattle, Washington. He earned a PhD in Psychology and Neurobiology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Mr. Randall C. Lawrence has served as Superintendent/President at College of the Siskiyous in Weed, California, since 2008. Prior to his current position he served as the Vice President of Instruction at Olympic College in Bremerton from 2002-2008. From 1997-2002, he served the Dean for Social Sciences & Humanities at Olympic College. Lawrence received a Bachelor's in Music, Composition, and Music Education from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and a Master's in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati. He is a doctoral candidate in Musicology at the University of Cincinnati.
