Congratulations to eight LWIT students who won awards at the SkillsUSA state competition in April.

Three of the students, the first place winners in their disciplines, are headed to Kansas City, Mo., to represent LWIT in the SkillsUSA National Championship June 24-28, 2013, where they'll represented the college in a competition that tests skill, expertise, and competency in their chosen trades. Nearly 6,000 outstanding career and technical education students - all state contest winners - will compete hands-on in 98 different trade, technical and leadership fields.
