Enrollment Options

  • Students enroll by the quarter and can begin enrollment any quarter

  • Students who are working towards either the Child Care Manager Certificate or the AAS

  • If similar coursework has been completed at other colleges those courses may be substituted for LWTech courses

  • Courses are usually offered face to face only once a year (On-line options will be available to make up course missed in a particular quarter)

Certificate vs. AAS Degree

  • We offer seven Statewide Stackable Certificates ranging from 12 to 47 credits.

  • The certificate of proficiency requires additional 23 credits split between 10 academic core credit and 13 ECE credits

  • The AAS degree requires an additional 30 credits of academic core requirements

  • Complete course descriptions on LWTech website

  • We have an articulation agreement with Eastern Washington campus at Bellevue College towards a BA in Human Development. See faculty advisor before enrolling in any academic core classes.

Coursework and Lab

  • Evening lectures/learning groups take place Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 -9:30 and some courses will also available on-line.

  • Day time sections are offered Monday/ Wednesday and Tues/Thurs afternoons.

  • Instructional method is through lecture, small group activities and group projects.

  • Some course offer a credit load is a combination of lecture and lab hour

  • Lab work is completed at student's place of employment or on site at the Early Learning Center.

Financial Aid

  • Students may choose to pay quarterly tuition in 3 equal payments
