Entry into this program requires completion of an LWIT admissions application.
The minimum educational requirement for admission to the Funeral Service Education program is graduation from an accredited four-year high school or its equivalent, such as a recognized GED, or other evidence of academic achievement such as a college transcript with at least nine post-secondary credits, exclusive of developmental courses, and a satisfactory grade point average from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. Have your high school or previous college directly mail official transcripts* to:

To comply with American Board of Funeral Service Education accreditation guidelines (ABFSE Standard 10.1.2a - see below), the transcripts must be sent directly from your high school, university, or college. No transcripts will be accepted that are received by any other method.
ABFSE Standard 10.1.2.a - "Transcript of high school or college work, received by mail directly from the institution from which the credits were received."
CAUTION: Students enrolling in the Funeral Service Education program should contact their respective state board of funeral service regarding that state board's approval of this particular program of instruction.
