Erin L. Wilcox

Erin Wilcox is a full-time instructor in the Funeral Service Education Department at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over five years. Erin has experience working in family-owned funeral homes, corporate-owned firms, and as a trade embalmer. She is a graduate of Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Religion. Erin is also a graduate of Cypress College in Cypress, California, where she earned her Associate of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree.

Lauren Budrow

Lauren Budrow is a full-time instructor in the Funeral Service Education Department. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Indiana University, and her Associate of Science Degree in Mortuary Science from Vincennes University in southern Indiana. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2002 and spent the first 8 years working for an independent funeral firm in Indianapolis, IN. She moved to Seattle in 2010 and spent her first year in Washington working for a corporate funeral firm before joining Lake Washington Institute of Technology in the summer of 2011. Lauren is currently working on her Master's Degree in Business Administration.
