The LWIT Tutorial program is a shared program between the college and the Associated Student Government.

Students may request tutoring through the Academic Skills Center located in the Technology Center, Room T217. This is a free service for those students who need help in any subject taught at the college. Students can get up to two hours per week of small group or one-to-one tutoring.

The tutee is the student receiving assistance. There is no charge for this service but a request form, available at the ASC, must be completed. Grade verification will be done by the college. A tutee contract must also be signed.

For students who are knowledgeable in a subject, the ASC tutoring program is looking for you. There is always a need for people who want to share their skills and experiences with others.

Applications, contracts and information forms can be picked up and returned at the Academic Skills Center in the Technology Center, Room T217. There is a required tutor in-service and grade verification as part of the application process, and all tutors must sign and keep a copy of the tutor contract.
