Off-Campus Resources

Mental Health and Counseling Services

Personal Counseling is a chance to talk confidentially with an objective person who can help you learn new skills and look at situations in different ways. This can help you become more capable of solving new problems on your own in the future. Some students benefit from one or two sessions of problem-solving, while others may require more. Although counselors may differ in their approach to counseling, they all have one goal in common: to help you resolve your concerns.

Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not currently have on-campus counseling services. We can refer students to off-site counseling resources. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Ruby Hayden, Vice President of Student Services at (425) 739-8208.
