Lake Washington Institute of Technology Spring Plant Sale Starts April 22

Kirkland, Wash. – Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) the only public institute of technology in Washington state, is hosting its Spring Plant Sale April 22-23 and April 29-30, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the greenhouses at its Kirkland campus.

The Spring Plant Sale will feature a variety of choices grown from seed to sale by Environmental Horticulture students, including fuchsia baskets, annuals, vegetable starts, succulents, perennials, herb starts and hundreds of bedding plants. Purchases help support LWTech’s Environmental Horticulture program. For quick access, the public can park for free next to the greenhouses on the southwest side of the campus.

WHERE:  Lake Washington Institute of Technology Kirkland campus at 11605 132nd Ave. NE, Kirkland, Wash. 98034. Free parking next to greenhouses on the southwest side of campus.

WHY: The public can purchase a variety of healthy plants grown from seed to sale and support LWTech’s Environmental Horticulture program.
