Kirkland, Wash. – Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech), the only public institute of technology in Washington State, is hosting its annual Open House, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its Kirkland campus located at 11605 132nd Ave. NE. All ages are invited to attend and participate in hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations.
Guests will visit more than 40 program booths, have the opportunity to talk with faculty and staff, and tour a variety of classrooms and labs, including but not limited to: Electronics and Machine Technology, Dental Hygiene, Nursing and Funeral Service Education. Activities include playing video games created by LWTech students, prize drawings for LWTech-branded items, and student artwork and demonstrations. Guests will also experience delicious sweet treats prepared by Culinary and Baking Arts students.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking and food provided.
