IC3 Key Applications Test

The IC3 Key Applications Test satisfies the CISA 101  / BAS 101 (Computer Applications) program prerequisite for the Medical Assisting, Funeral Service Education, and Accounting programs. It may be substituted for CISA 101 / BAS 101 in other programs of study.

Testing Schedule

The IC3 Key Applications test is offered, by appointment, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - with exceptions for holidays or scheduling changes/conflicts. Please check our Testing Calendar  for more information. 

You must have a LWIT Student ID# to schedule a testing appointment. Don't have one? You will get the ID# via email in 2-3 working days. Schedule an appointment.

IC3 Testing Fee  

IC3 test vouchers (with retake / no retake option) may be purchase online. You will pay a proctor fee of $15.00 to LWIT.

Test Preparation

The IC3 study guide is available - on a Reserve basis - in the LWIT Library located in the Technology Center.

On the test day, please bring:

  • Government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license or passport is required

  • LWIT Student ID number

  • Certiport user name and password

  • IC3 exam voucher and $15.00 proctor fee

The Assessment Center provides pencils and scratch paper.

IC3 Test Results

You will receive the printed result of your exam immediately upon completion of the test. After successfully passing the IC3 Key Applications test, you may speak with your faculty adviser for next steps.
