Test Proctoring

Students are advised to schedule an appointment 2 to 4 weeks in advance due to holidays, test volumes or academic assessment deadlines. Please see the Testing Calendar for test dates.

LWTC offers proctoring services for LWTC students and other colleges and universities for their distance learning students. Proctored tests are administered by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Available times depend on length of exam. Please check our Testing Calendar for more information.

Proctor Fee: $25.00 per exam

Proctored Test Results: No results available; Proctoring only. Results from test source.

Instructions for Students

Step 1: You must have a LWTC Student ID# to schedule a testing appointment. You will get the ID# via email in 2-3 working days.

Step 2: Contact the college/university you are attending and request the test / proctor instructions to be sent to Brenda Larson in the Assessment Center.

Step 3: Call (425) 739-8115 two days prior to the test date to verify that we have the test/proctor instructions.

Facility Guidelines

  • Students may not have personal laptops, cell phones or USB drives in the testing room.

  • Other electronic devices/electronic notes may be permitted by your instructor;

  • Electronic notes may be emailed to yourself - and downloaded at test station - if permitted by instructor. Calculators or electronic dictionaries may be used per instructions from faculty.

  • MS Excel and add-in are available.
