Grant awarded funds are dedicated solely to the specific purpose approved by the granting agency. A contract is a written agreement between the college and an off-campus agency. A contract is enforceable by law. Contracts are usually written for a specific task and contain a statement of work with terms and conditions specific to the contract.

Grant & Contract Process

The Grant & Contract Process is established to ensure that all applicable departments are informed of the development, implementation, management and fiscal requirements of a grant or contract. The Grant & Contract Process policies and procedures are located in the Policies and Procedures Manual, Chapter 8. This link takes you to the college intranet.
