The International Programs Office is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Current students, drop-in inquiries are all welcome! Feel free to stop by at any time. Appointments are highly encouraged and can be made by calling (425) 739-8145.
Our office is in E126 (next to the coffee cart) for information about our programs. This is a good opportunity to talk about transfering from another school, how to apply to LWIT as an international student (or friend of the student), and learn about our programs!

There are many programs to choose from at Lake Washington Institute of Technology for international students. We offer Intensive English Program (IEP) courses, Bridge (to take IEP and technical courses), International High School Completion, private groups, and Au Pair classes. If your goal is to improve your English, LWIT is the right place for you! Fill out and submit our application or contact the International Programs Office. For information about J-1 Scholars please contact our office.
Summer Quarter starts July 1, 2013. Fall Quarter starts September 23, 2013.
Advising
Make your appointment now to meet with your International Student Adviser Liah Matsui.
Advising Day is May 7, 2013. Registration begins for continuing and non-credit students for Summer and Fall 2013 Quarter.
Upcoming Events
Talk Time! (May 14 and June 4, 12-1pm, E126) We are very excited to offer Talk Time!, a program designed to give international students an opportunity to practice their conversational English skills with other students and college staff.
International Mentorship Program Activity (May 17th) The mentors and mentees are off on another adventure! The mentorship program supports new international students at LWIT. Mentors help new international students through their first quarter in the US and at LWIT.
Commencement (June 14, Lynnwood Convention Center) This is a great day of celebration as some of our students graduate!
