Application Requirements Summary

  • Earned AAS in design related discipline

  • Completion of 4 application specified General Education courses with minimum 2.0 GPA

  • Minimum cumulative GPA across all college coursework of 2.0

  • Design Portfolio

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • Resume

  • Essay

  • $50 application fee


BTAD Online Application and Admission Information Session


BTAD On-Campus Information Sessions

These helpful sessions present a more detailed overview of the BTAD program, curriculum and philosophy.  Sessions are offered on the Kirkland campus at 4:30 for Q & A and 5:00 p.m. for Info. Session in West Building, Room W406.  The next scheduled session is November 5th.  No RSVP is needed. Attending an information session is strongly recommended before applying to this program.


Program Objectives

The Bachelor of Technology in Applied Design program will educate, train and develop successful supervisors and project managers to utilize technology and create competitive advantages for their business enterprises. The Applied Design Core will stress the process of design, managing creativity, design technology, project management, entrepreneurship and ethical issues. The objective is to prepare graduates to function as lead designers or project managers of creative and technical personnel.
