Jacob Kukuk, Software Developer at Lake Washington Institute of Technology, was a member of a ten-person team that created the esperLINQ wristband for people in recovery, an idea pitched by Technology Entrepreneur Daniela Tudor. Through a social network application, the esperLINQ band wearer's support network will be able to notice a decrease in activity in the three key categories and be able to reach out before a relapse begins! More than 25 million Americans of all socioeconomic classes, genders and ethnicities are in recovery from alcoholism and substance/drug abuse, 40% - 60% of whom relapse sometimes leading to deaths.

She has more than 20 years of experience Human Resources and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. "Our hiring team looked for a Human Resources Director who values diversity and has experience with organizational and professional development," said Dr. Morrison. "We expect Melissa will implement HR initiatives that strongly support LWTech's vision of becoming an employer of choice." Melissa arrived on campus Sept. 15.
