LWTech currently offers bachelor’s degrees in six (6) fields, including two STEM focused degrees. Each Bachelor Degree program has special admissions requirements. Please review the Bachelor’s Degrees page for more information, including special admissions processes for each degree.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology offers a variety of innovative degree programs with hands on learning, including STEM designated degree programs eligible to apply for extended Optional Practical Training at the bachelor degree level. LWTech offers the opportunity for students to earn both a high school diploma and college credits toward their degree at the same time. Students earn a Washington State US high school diploma that is recognized around the world.
The Intensive English Program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology, is designed to provide a solid foundation in the English language and the skills necessary to be successful in college and university courses. LWTech offers 5 levels of English language training for international students who have not met the English proficiency requirement for their intended academic program. In Levels 1-4 student are enrolled in 20 hours of reading, writing, listening and speaking, and grammar.
$3,182.86 per quarter for Levels 1-4. Level 5 Bridge quarter is the regular international student tuition rate.
IEP Level 5 Bridge allows students the opportunity to complete credits towards their academic program while completing their English proficiency requirement. Students are placed into a Learning Community course sequence (ENG 93, 99 or 101+ communications or psychology + academic support class) for their first full academic quarter. The linked courses in Level 5 Bridge means the assignments in your classes are connected. In addition, students may have the opportunity to take another academic course such as a math requirement. Math placement is determined after completing the LWTech math assessment. All level 5 Bridge students must meet with the International Programs academic advisor prior to enrolling in courses.
