The LWTech Meditation Room is a designated meditation space for the campus community, located in the Technology Center, T118. The space is dedicated for those in need of a quiet room on campus to engage in meditation, prayer, or silent reflection. It is intended to be a safe and inclusive environment. Usage of the Meditation Room is on a first-come, first-served basis, and only LWTech students, staff, and faculty are eligible to use the room during designated, open hours.
The Meditation Room is managed by the Wellness Center. Any questions or concerns about the Meditation Room can be directed to Wellness Center staff by calling (425) 739-8490 or stopping by the Wellness Center in East Building, E116.
Access to the Meditation Room requires the use of a Meditation Room key card. Individuals request a card from using the link below.
After the processing the form, you can pick up an access key card in East Building, E116 at the front desk. You must submit a license or student ID card to use the card. Meditation Room access key cards are for daily use only. Cards are due back at the end of the day it was checked out. Failure to return the key card by the due date will result in a $10 dollar fine.
To report lost or stolen Meditation Room key cards, please contact the Wellness Center as soon as possible.
Failure to comply with the Meditation Room guidelines or repeated misuse of the space may result in disciplinary action and limited or restricted use of the space.
If you observe any person or activity in the Meditation Room that is inappropriate to the purpose of the space, you are strongly encouraged to contact LWTech Campus Public Safety at (425) 739-8224 and report the activity. If the person or activity observed poses an immediate threat or danger to others or the facility, find safety and call 911, then call LWTech Campus Public Safety.
