LWTech President Dr. Amy Morrison Named to Aspen Presidents Fellowship

President Dr. Amy Morrison has been selected to join the highly competitive Aspen Presidents Fellowship, earning a place among just 23 community college presidents nationwide in the program’s third cohort.

The year-long fellowship supports college leaders in developing bold, actionable reform agendas aimed at improving student success. Participants focus on strategies that help more students graduate into meaningful, well-paying careers, whether immediately after completing their community college education or after transferring to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Throughout the program, fellows collaborate with their cohort, Aspen Institute leaders, and peers from across the country. Together, they examine local labor market trends, institutional performance data, and student outcomes, while exploring national models of excellence and learning from proven leadership practices.

The third cohort reflects the diversity of the nation’s community colleges, representing institutions with a broad range of missions, including community, technical, and tribal-serving colleges.
