The 2026 Bright Futures Benefit WEEK officially kicked off today with a morning of coffee, community and a shared commitment to student success. Hosted by the LWTech Foundation, this annual fundraiser aims to raise $735,000 to provide critical support for student scholarships, academic programs and the Student Emergency Fund. 

The kickoff took place at LWTech's new Center for Design Event Center, where students, faculty, staff, donors, trustees and Board members came together to celebrate the difference that giving makes. The event also marked the launch of this year's Bright Futures student stories, featuring students sharing how scholarships have helped transform their lives and made their educational goals possible. 

Adding a special touch to the celebration, LWTech's Baking Arts students prepared and sponsored the pastries and treats served at the event, showcasing the talent and creativity of our own students. 

The impact of donor generosity is already making a difference. In 2025, the LWTech Foundation awarded 204 Bright Futures Scholarships of $1,000 each. Building on that commitment, the LWTech Board of Directors has pledged to increase the value of each Bright Futures Scholarship to $1,500 this year, providing students with even greater financial support as they pursue their education.
