LWTech and Overlake Medical Center Partner to Offer 11-Week Patient Care Technician Training Program

LWTech, in partnership with Overlake Medical Center (Overlake), is offering an 11-week Patient Care Technician (PCT) Training Program. This unique opportunity is designed to help Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students seamlessly transition into Patient Care Technician roles at Overlake Medical Center upon earning their NA-C (Nursing Assistant Certificate) license.
The program combines classroom instruction at LWTech with hands-on clinical experience at Overlake, fully preparing students for a career in patient care. Tuition, fees, and e-books are paid for by Overlake, offering a no-cost pathway into the healthcare field.
Important Dates:
- Overlake Job Application Deadline: July 14, 2025
- Participant and Alternate Selection: By July 30, 2025
- LWTech Program Application Deadline: August 18, 2025
- Program Start Date: September 29, 2025
- Estimated Transition to PCT Roles: Mid-December 2025
Applicants selected for the program will receive valuable real-world experience while working toward eligibility for open PCT positions at Overlake Medical Center.
