Lake Washington Institute of Technology’s President Dr. Amy Morrison was awarded the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) 2025 Marie Y. Martin Chief Executive Officer Award this past Friday evening in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This prestigious national recognition follows her being named both the Washington State Association of College Trustees (ACT) 2025 Chief Executive Officer of the Year and the 2025 ACCT Pacific Region Chief Executive Officer of the Year.

The ACCT Awards honor the outstanding leadership and impact of community colleges and their leaders as they meet the evolving needs of their communities.
