To ensure that the college meets current and future workforce needs, representatives from business and industry serve on the President’s Advisory Council and on advisory committees for each program. Additionally, the college works closely with local governments and elected officials, state and federal legislators, and community organizations to support economic development in our region.

The LWTech Foundation Supports LWTech by:

  • Providing students with scholarships and emergency financial assistance, enabling them to pursue their academic and career goals.
  • Providing support for instructional programs, including: funds for materials, equipment and projects; professional development opportunities for faculty; and opportunities for students to compete in regional and national competitions.
  • Developing and maintaining relations with corporations, businesses, community organizations and individuals for the benefit of the college.
