We have added a ticketing system for new project requests. As of today, all project requests will need to be submitted through the project request form, located in the Brand Center, not by emailing a Communications and Marketing team member. Requests include creating/modifying print material, brand review/approval, social media posting, press releases, advertising campaigns, swag and giveaways, website updates (for those without web-editing access), new webpages, website forms, web analytics, document/digital accessibility, photography, and more! This form does NOT include DigiSign requests.
Once the form has been submitted, your Executive Cabinet representative will be notified about the project, so they are in the loop from the very beginning. Once the project is given the green light by the Executive Cabinet member, you will be contacted by a Communications and Marketing team member to kick off your project. Our goal is that this new process will help with transparency and prioritization between departments.
With hundreds of project requests each year, and as a part of our streamlining projects, we will now have dedicated times per quarter where we will accept new projects. This does not include development of press releases or other news announcements, which are driven by news-making activities. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Many college and university marketing departments are structured this way to better serve their college communities. We have seen great evidence that this process will be successful at LWTech. We will kick off our marketing cycles in two phases:
You may submit project requests for Winter 2019, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 quarters as early as today. Beginning in Phase 2 (July 21, 2019), there will be job request opening dates added for each quarter.

The Communications and Marketing department will be hosting monthly information sessions, where you can meet the team, and we can provide you with insight into our department processes and systems. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about us, and what we can do to support your program/department to drive enrollments and positively impact the student experience.
