Created by long-time Trustee Anne Hamilton, the Trustees Persistence Scholarship recognizes the value of tenacity in the face of adversity by awarding two $2,000 scholarships annually to students who demonstrate persistence in completing their degree and/or certificate at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. To underscore the value of determination, the LWTech Foundation awards half of the scholarship in spring and the remaining half of the scholarship is awarded during in the students’ final quarter at LWTech.
The LWTech trustees have created this scholarship specifically to assist students struggling with financial, academic and/or personal difficulties who need an “extra hand” to make their completion possible. Our LWTech Trustees care deeply about our students and are here to support them through their struggles and efforts as they complete their course of study.
