Multiple scholarships are awarded each quarter. These are only available to students enrolled in Environmental Horticulture at LWTech.
Full tuition awarded to one student each quarter. This is only available to students enrolled in Environmental Horticulture at LWTech.
A $1,000 scholarship is awarded as part of the Fall scholarship cycle. This scholarship is sponsored by Cascade Pest Control and is only available to students enrolled in Environmental Horticulture at LWTech.
The Rick Pankow Foundation is committed to assisting students pursuing an education in the horticultural field, encompassing agriculture, arboriculture, landscaping/design, nursery, viticulture, viniculture, green industry, and more. Awards up to $2,000 and applications accepted throughout the year.
Multiple scholarships are awarded throughout the year are available to currently enrolled students. Many local garden clubs have scholarships for students in their areas. Students can become members and attend meetings for more information.
Two $250 scholarships awarded annually to currently enrolled students in the LWTech Horticulture Program.
Two scholarships of $2000 each awarded annually. Students must be Washington State residents enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year program at a college, university, or trade school and majoring in horticulture, environmental science, botany, landscape design, or other plant-related field. Applications are due 2/15/2020, to be awarded on 3/15/2020.
One scholarship of $500 awarded each year, due December 1st.
General scholarship grants for any full-time or part-time student, including technical
schools and community colleges, majoring in Horticulture, Plant Science or Journalism,
with an interest in garden communications.
Multiple scholarships awarded once per year, due February 28th.
Available to students pursuing a major in the horticulture industry. Must plan to
attend or be enrolled in a NW accredited educational institution.
Two Educational Foundation Scholarships of $1,000.
Available to students enrolled in a technical or community college offering a landscape/horticulture
program.
Must enrolled to take a minimum of 7 credits per quarter.
Two Rick Pankow Memorial Scholarships of $2,000.
Two scholarships awarded each year, due March 15th.
Available to matriculated students pursuing education in horticulture, botany, landscape
design, landscape architecture or environmental science.
Scholarships awarded each year, due April 1st.
Available to students studying or planning to study in the area of horticulture in
an accredited technical school, vocational school, community college or four-year
college/university.
Multiple scholarships awarded each year, due in February.
Available to students enrolled as seniors at BEST High School, International Community School, Juanita High School, Lake Washington High School, Lake Washington Academy or Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
Applications due May 15th each year.
Available to all in the floriculture/horticulture field of study.
The Mukilteo Way Garden Club is offering two Horticulture Scholarships of $1000 for 2023-24 academic classes in horticulture and related fields at an accredited college or trade school in the state of Washington. Applications and more information are available on our scholarship page or by request Mukilteo Way Garden Club, PO Box 1361, Mukilteo, WA 98275. Application deadline is May 31, 2023.
If you would like to make a donation to either the Lake Washington Horticulture Scholarship Fund or the Jim Colman Horticulture Scholarship fund, you can now do so online. You can donate any dollar amount you wish. Just be sure to note what fund you would like your donation to go to in the 'Purpose' box at the top of the page.
