Quantitative Reasoning (Math)
Students who successfully complete math courses will be able to use the mathematical critical thinking skills of problem-solving, pattern recognition, substitution, following structural rules, and quantitative modeling to solve problems requiring reasoning, critical thinking, and computation. Free supplemental instruction and tutoring services are available for all students.
Students have the opportunity to work with math faculty on undergraduate research projects and present their research at various math conferences in the state. Recent projects involve math as it relates to robotics, DNA, and Borromean rings.
