The Accounting Assistant Certificate prepares students for an entry-level career in the high-demand field of accounting. Accounting Assistant students learn the fundamentals of accounting and how to use the latest technology in computerized accounting software. Students also learn to prepare financial statements, income taxes, and payroll. Accounting Assistant Certificate graduates can continue studying at LWTech to complete additional certificates, an Accounting Associate’s (AAS) degree, and/or transfer to complete an Accounting Bachelor’s (BAS) degree.
