The I-BEST Biomedical Device Assembler certificate prepares students for an entry-level assembler job in the healthcare technology industry, with a focus on medical devices equipment manufacturing. The program teaches students relevant, in-demand skills for biomedical assembly, proper installation of electronic/optical/mechanical components, quality inspection and auditing, product finishing, blueprint reading and engineering drawing schematics, and lean manufacturing.
