The I-BEST Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer Certificate prepares students for successful employment as group fitness instructors or personal trainers in entry-level to mid-management positions. Fitness professionals train and motivate others to improve and maintain their overall health, fitness, and wellness. Students in the I-BEST Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer certificate program prepares students to pass personal trainer certification exams offered by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). All students must complete a 208-hour industry-based internship or cooperative work experience to earn their certificate.
