The Turning Setup and Operation Certificate prepares students for a high-demand career in the machine trades. Students learn basic machining through creative and inventive class projects. Instructors teach machine shop expectations, applied math, and a special emphasis on CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining. Turning Setup and Operation students can continue studying at LWTech to complete additional certificates or the Machining Technology Associate (AAS) degree.
