Jenny earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and her Master of Education degree in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Jenny has over 17 years of clinical experience in adult and geriatric rehabilitation. Her specialty areas include orthopedics, neurological conditions, dementia care, and treatment of the medically complex person. Jenny has always enjoyed the challenge of treating the whole patient with particular emphasis on the psychosocial aspects complicated by physical injuries and disabilities. She has practiced in multiple clinical settings including subacute/transitional care, skilled nursing, assisted living, hospital and wellness programs. In addition to her clinical experience she has operational management and teaching experience. She worked as a Clinical Specialist and District Manager overseeing numerous interdisciplinary rehab teams in Western Washington and Oregon. She has 5+ yearsโ experience teaching in OTA programs and experience working as an academic fieldwork coordinator. Jenny enjoys program development, mentoring clinicians/students, and ensuring the recipients of OT services receive the best possible treatment and clinical outcomes. In her free time Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies and supporting her daughter and step-daughter at their various sporting events.
