Robin Huesca earned her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Washington in 2003, followed by her Master of Occupational Therapy from University of Washington in 2005. Robin has over 10 years of experience within multiple settings, starting her career within the public school system in Lake Washington School District, primarily in early intervention and the self-contained special education classrooms. After having her first child, Robin began working in the acute care environment at Providence Everett Regional Medical Center. During her 7 years at Providence, Robin led an interdisciplinary team in the development of Prioritization Tool and “Reasonable and Necessary Tool” improving consistency of rehabilitation department service delivery, and establishing evidence-based and fiscally compliant guidelines for acute care therapy services. Most recently, as Lead Occupational Therapist of Evergreens’ Rehabilitation Team, Robin worked to improve communication and streamline therapists’ service delivery between acute and inpatient services to achieve optimal client outcomes. Robin’s passion is working to bring Evidence-Based Research into everyday treatment practice. She strongly believes in helping individuals with acute or chronic illness and/or injury can act as partners with their Occupational Therapist to improve their clinical outcomes and quality of life.

Jenny earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and her Master of Education degree in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Jenny has over 17 years of clinical experience in adult and geriatric rehabilitation. Her specialty areas include orthopedics, neurological conditions, dementia care, and treatment of the medically complex person. Jenny has always enjoyed the challenge of treating the whole patient with particular emphasis on the psychosocial aspects complicated by physical injuries and disabilities. She has practiced in multiple clinical settings including subacute/transitional care, skilled nursing, assisted living, hospital and wellness programs. In addition to her clinical experience she has operational management and teaching experience. She worked as a Clinical Specialist and District Manager overseeing numerous interdisciplinary rehab teams in Western Washington and Oregon. She has 5+ years’ experience teaching in OTA programs and experience working as an academic fieldwork coordinator. Jenny enjoys program development, mentoring clinicians/students, and ensuring the recipients of OT services receive the best possible treatment and clinical outcomes. In her free time Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies and supporting her daughter and step-daughter at their various sporting events.
