Brad Mayer is a transplant from Wisconsin before moving around the U.S. extensively following undergrad while serving in the Air Force.
Brad has a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Saint Cloud State University, and a Master’s in Supply Chain Management from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Brad has over 11 years of experience in the Supply Chain industry. His previous roles include: Import Analyst at Target HQ, Account Manager at Costco for NYK Shipping Line and Yusen Logistics Transportation, and Planning Manager at Yusen Logistics. His current role is a Project Manager at Yusen Logistics.
In his free time, Brad enjoys exploring the PNW with his four children, ages 16 to 4, hiking the many terrific trails throughout the region, and trivia nights. He is looking forward to the new NHL team arriving in Seattle!

Alan Van Boven coaches enterprises in logistics process and applied technology. Alan’s current focus is logistics technology strategy, collaborative business models and product selection and its deployment where real economic and sustainability benefits are achieved via technology-enabled innovation in e-commerce, optimization & collaboration processes.
Alan progressed through enterprises in national security technology, wireless telecommunications and the application of optimization solutions for freight transport. Alan was the CEO of ShipLogix until it was sold in 2007. He was a principal in Supply Chain Visions, a boutique thought leadership consultancy.
In addition to his consulting practice, Van Boven coaches social entrepreneurial startups and is an angel investor in sustainable enterprises. He is actively involved in several supply chain academic programs as an Advisory Board member, including UW SCTL. He holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Washington with graduate level studies at Stanford and Seattle University.
