Talk confidentially with our counselor who can help you learn new mental health skills and look at situations differently. Some students benefit from one or two sessions of problem-solving, while others may require more. Although counselors may differ in their approach to counseling, they all have one goal in common: to help you resolve your concerns.
LWTech offers free short term counseling services to all students as well as mental health resources on the Counseling Services webpage. Counseling is offered via phone and Zoom. To schedule a counseling appointment, please email from your student email address and include your availability, phone number, and preference for a zoom or phone appointment. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call the 24-Hour Crisis Clinic hotline at 866-427-4747, TTY: 206-461-3610.
LWTech offers counseling to all students and appointments are made by contacting Katie Peacock. Appointments are 50 minutes and students generally have 1 - 3 appointments with the counselor. After that, students are offered referrals to outside counseling.
