Food Resources by City
Food banks and food pantries are listed below in many cities near the LWTech campus. Please check with each individual food bank to confirm its food distribution hours and eligibility requirements.
Kirkland Area
- Kirkland- Hopelink Food Market: Kirkland area clients can have a typical grocery shopping experience at no cost at the Kirkland Hopelink Market. To enroll, fill out the Hopelink Food Enrollment Intake Form.
- Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank: Walk-in clients welcome. Bring ID for all family members and proof of residency such as utility bill or rental agreement for Woodinville, Bothell, Kirkland, Kenmore, or Redmond.
- Community Meal- Lake Washington United Methodist Church: Provides a weekly community meal for anyone in need.
- State Street Food Pantry and Community Meal: Located in downtown Kirkland, this Food Pantry is part of the Little Pantries Network. Pet food may also be offered.
- Community Pantry — Holy Spirit Lutheran Church: Open 24/7, this Free Community Pantry is open for community members to donate or take what they need.
Bellevue Area
- Renewal Food Bank: Everyone is welcome, and shoppers can visit one time per week. Pet food is also available. Located at 15022 Bel-Red Road in Bellevue.
- Eastside Salvation Army: Located in Bellevue, their Food Bank is open multiple days per week. Free hot meals are offered on Monday - Friday from 5:30-6:30 PM.
- Bellevue- Hopelink Food Market: Clients can have a typical grocery shopping experience at no cost at the Bellevue Hopelink Market. To enroll, fill out the Hopelink Food Enrollment Intake Form.
- Bellevue- Essentials First- Community Kits: Distributes Essential Hygiene Kits and Street Kits at four different locations; one of the drop-in locations is in Bellevue.
Bothell/Woodinville Area
- Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank: Walk-in clients welcome. Bring ID for all family members and proof of residency such as utility bill or rental agreement for Woodinville, Bothell, Kirkland, Kenmore, or Redmond.
- Woodinville- Hopelink Mobile Market: The Hopelink Mobile Market distributes fresh and canned foods to targeted areas with food insecurity through East King County.
- Canyon Hills Community Church Food Bank: Food Pantry open to residents of Bothell, Lynnwood, Kenmore, and Mill Creek. Customers must submit an application to shop.
- Bothell- Woodinville Area- Little Free Pantries: Little Free Pantries provide free non-perishable food, and they are 24/7 no-barrier access point.
Edmonds/Lynnwood/Shoreline Area
- Shoreline- Hopelink Food Market: Clients can have a typical grocery shopping experience at no cost at the Shoreline Hopelink Market. To enroll, fill out the Hopelink Food Enrollment Intake Form.
- Edmonds Food Bank: Customers can order from this Food Bank online or drive up/walk up is available during distribution hours.
- Lynnwood Food Bank: A Food Pantry in Lynnwood; All are welcome. No documentation is needed to qualify for services. It is a Drive-Through Format.
- Concern for Neighbors Food Bank: : A Community Food Bank in Mountlake Terrace serving the residents of Brier, Mountlake Terrace and south Lynnwood.
Everett Area
- Everett Community Food Bank- Volunteers of America:: The Everett Community Food Bank serves guests in a walk-thru, grocery style experience.
- Everett United Church of Christ- Food Pantry: A food pantry for anyone with food insecurity who is looking for nutritious and healthy meals.
- Everett Salvation Army- Food Bank: A food bank in Everett open most days of the week with nutritious food options for families or individuals.
- Everett Community Resource Center: Services include a food pantry, help with paying for utilities or finding housing, mental healthcare, and other great programs.
- St. Vincent de Paul- North Sound Council: Located in Snohomish County, offers resources such as food/gas vouchers, homeless prevention, free beds for children, potential financial assistance for items such as clothing and prescription medication.
- Volunteers of America Western Washington: Provides information for Food Banks and Food Pantries in or near Everett and Sultan, WA.
Issaquah Area
- Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank: Offers In-Store Shopping, once per week, for individuals families seeking healthy and nutritious food.
- Issaquah Meals Program: Provides nightly Hot Meals at the Community Hall next to the fire station; All are welcome with no registration required.
- Issaquah Community Meals: Offers Community Meals multiple days/times per week, and typically on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
Redmond Area
- Redmond- Hopelink Food Market: Clients can have a typical grocery shopping experience at no cost at the Redmond Hopelink Market. To enroll, fill out the Hopelink Food Enrollment Intake Form.
- Open Kitchen- Redmond: Serves a free, warm meal, dine in or to go, every Wednesday from 5-6 PM at the Redmond United Methodist Church.

Renton Area
- Multi-Service Center: Provides food in a market style inside the food bank on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 AM- 2 PM. New clients must fill out the Food Bank Appointment Application.
- Renton- Salvation Army: Provides a Rotary Food Bank and Community Meals in Renton.
- Margie Williams- Helping Hands: A Food Bank serving the Renton and Greater Seattle Area. No one is turned away.
- St. Stephen Catholic Church- Food Bank: The Food Pantry includes food, personal care items, and essential household items.
- Renton- The Little Free Pantries: Little Free Food Pantries are open 24/7; unattended small boxes where people can share non-perishable foods.
Seattle Area
- Pike Market Food Bank: Offers free groceries and ready-to-eat food for those without housing and others in need who live in Downtown Seattle.
- West Seattle Food Bank: Serves those in need in the following ZIP codes: 98106, 98116, 98126, 98136. Distributes food, pet food, and other items to community members in need.
- University District Food Bank: Typically serves those in need in the following ZIP codes: 98102, 98103, 98105, 98112, 98115, and 98125. Located in the University District Area of Northeast Seattle.
- Byrd Barr Place: Provides a Food Market for free groceries and other necessities for those living in one of the following zip codes: 98102, 98112, or 98122.
- Georgetown Food Bank- St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle: A Food Pantry with such items as Granola Bars, Crackers, Nuts or Trail Mix, Canned Soup, Cereal, etc. Some foods are only eligible for those living in need in the following zip codes: 98102, 98112 or 98122.
- Polack Food Bank: Located in the Capitol Hill Seattle area. For those in need, select food items based on your preference among the available choices.
- Seattle- Essentials First Community Kits Program: Distributes Essential Hygiene Kits and Street Kits at four different locations; one of the drop-in locations is in Seattle.
Other Food Banks
- Fall City Community Food Pantry: A food pantry in Fall City that offers food for those in need in Fall City, Preston, North Bend, Carnation, and Snoqualmie.
- Holy Innocents Food Pantry: Located in Carnation and their Food Pantry provides a variety of foods and hygiene products.
- Sky Valley Food Bank: Located in Monroe and clients can shop free of charge once per week. Clients must have an appointment at Sky Valley Food Bank Link.
