LWTech’s Workforce Development Office, United Way of King County, the RISE Center, and the LWTech Fitness program are coming together for a Volunteer Service Project! Following
a campus-wide personal care products drive, donated care items will be assembled into
give away care bags and delivered to partnering community organizations.

Financial Wellness Workshop - All volunteers will attend - Location (E144)

Organize donated personal care items by category and assemble care bags that will be donated to community partnering organizations
Load care bags into delivery vehicles - Location (TBD)
Light lunch and refreshments for registered volunteers
We are looking for as many volunteers as possible to make our project ROCK! Please sign up through United Way to volunteer!
LWTech plans to implement a multifaceted, volunteer service project that honors Dr.
King’s legacy and his fight against poverty and inequality.
This project will incorporate Dr. King’s legacy to fight against poverty and inequality for individuals facing one or more of the barriers listed below, that low-income, marginalized populations face on a daily basis.
