Lake Washington Institute of Technology hosted the annual Staff Training for Technical and Community Colleges (STTACC) conference this year, August 11-12, 2016. We hope our mission was accomplished and that you were sparked about what you do in life both personally and professionally.
This year's keynote speaker, Seconde Nimenya is an International Award-Winning Author, Inspirational Speaker, and a Personal and Professional Leadership Coach.
We’re all born with a purpose, and the universal truth is: EVERYONE goes through adversity one way or another, because it is through challenges that we discover who we truly are. How you respond to life’s adversities can make you or break you! But you can choose to be the hero in your own story - the story featuring you!
When it comes to your work, what you do matters more than how you do it. Being an engaged employee is first and foremost, being self-empowered, and then empowering your coworkers, your customers, your managers, and all your stakeholders.
In this presentation, author Seconde Nimenya shares with you a transformational model that will help you, your teams, and peers to be fully engaged, while having fun at work!
Seconde has lived a multicultural life on two continents and three countries, and she inspires people worldwide on how to overcome personal hurdles, discover your passion, and honor your true self. She shares life skills you can take back and empower yourself and others in your family, in your work, in your community, and in your world!
Note: Previous keynote had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We are truly delighted to have Ms. Nimenya presenting as our keynote.
