The Employment Resource Center (ERC) provides career planning and job search assistance to LWTech students and alumni. Whether you are exploring a new career path, trying to decide on the right educational program, looking for a part-time job or internship while you are in school, or graduating and ready to find your dream job, the ERC is here to help. Services include individual support, classroom presentations, workshops, employer events and online resources to LWTech students and graduates. 

Workshops and Resources

If you are unsure what to study at LWTech, the Career Choice Workshop (CCW) will help you understand the career choice process, identify your career interests, explore resources related to various career paths, learn about trends in the labor market, and locate educational programs aligned with your career goals. Get started on the journey to your future career.

  • March - June: CCW will be offered on the 1st Friday in April and May and on the 1st and 3rd Friday of June at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Hire Lions Help

All current LWTech students and alumni may access their Hire Lions powered by Handshake accounts by signing in with your LWTech credentials (LWTech student email and password) and set up your profile and preferences for job notifications.

All employers interested in creating a an LWTech "Hire Lions powered by Handshake" employer account, may contact us at job.placement@lwtech.edu to do so. New employers may also visit the Handshake employer page to create a new "Hire Lions" account.

Please note: Once you create your employer account, you will also need to select our school (LWTech) to connect with. Your account request will then be sent to us for review and approval of your business and any submitted job postings, in order to begin posting jobs for students and alumni.
