I'm Julie (She/Her/Hers)! My great passion is to create, facilitate, and engage people to learn foundational dialogues skills, empathetic and generous listening, cross-cultural storytelling, and critical self-reflection. I have striven to actively embrace, support, and defend my community - my students, faculty, and staff, including those from underrepresented and marginalized groups, to let them know I am with them. Over the past 5 years, I have developed my competencies in diversity, equity, and inclusion work and always aim to make it a goal to make all feel seen, heard, supported, and safe. My educational background includes a BA in Applied Psychology at Penn State University and a M.ED in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs Leadership in Temple University.
The RISE Center is supported by the Lions CREW (Creating Resources for Equity & Wellness) Team.
