Join us for a discussion with Mariah Parker in celebration of Black History Month. Parker is an openly queer hip hop artist, a PhD candidate in linguistics at the University of Georgia and community organizer dedicated to transformative politics. At age 26, she was elected as Athens, Georgia's youngest County Commissioner. In this discussion she'll be discussing the importance of radical civic engagement in equity and justice.
