The Lions CREW (Creating Resources for Equity and Wellness) Team is now hiring student employees for the 2021-2022 academic year (14-17 hours/week, August 31, 2021 - June 30, 2022).

About Our Department

The Student Programs Office includes the Lions CREW Team, the Associated Student Government, and The RISE Center. The purpose of the office is to advocate for students, support student life on campus, including student clubs, and provide leadership opportunities for students.

As part of the LWTech community, Student Programs is dedicated to promoting equity, inclusion and combating structural oppression. These values align with college-wide goals of being inclusive, collaborative, and respectful. 

The Lions CREW (Creating Resources for Equity & Wellness) is a team of students that provides events, activities, and resources for LWTech students that enrich our campus life and community.

We invite student applicants of all identities, ages, experience levels, and from any program! International, Running Start, ESL, high school and high school 21+ are also eligible to apply (as long as you are eligible to work in the United States).

Pay rate is $13.69/hour, for all positions

What are the requirements and qualifications to apply?

  • We invite students of all identities, ages, backgrounds, experience levels, and programs to apply!
  • All students, including International, Running Start, ELL, ABE, high school and HS 21+ students are all eligible to apply
    • The responsibilities of the positions involve frequent written and spoken communication in English; we encourage ELL students to have completed at least ELL level 5 classes before applying
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credits during Fall 2021, Winter 2021, and Spring 2022
  • Have at least a 2.5 GPA (if you have only taken pass/fail classes at LWTech and do not have a GPA currently, you are still eligible to apply)
  • If you are hired, you will need proof of identity, and documentation of U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
  • Not have any conduct code violation meetings pending
  • Be technically proficient to complete work on computers, including using Microsoft Office
  • Will need to complete a background check if hired
