Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, LWTech is offering a combination of online and on-campus classes for Fall quarter. This decision was made for the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. The College is relying on guidance from the Office of the Governor, Washington State Public Health, King County Public Health, and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
Only students in classes with “F” or “B” classes are permitted on campus Fall quarter. Students will only be permitted on campus during the scheduled lab days and times. Specific instructions will be sent to these students regarding protocols for their time on campus.
This is the current plan based on public health guidance. The college may change these rules depending on the changing nature of the pandemic. Students enrolled in these classes should be prepared to be flexible. For example, an on-campus class may be moved online if the college receives guidance that this is necessary.
The college uses section codes to designate the mode of instruction. When you look at the class schedule you can find the section code right after the item number:

The college has technology available for students to borrow through the LWTech Library. Complete the Technology Needs form to determine your technology needs and make a request to borrow a device. Check back on this page or check your student email for more details as we get closer to the start of the quarter. It is critical for you to regularly check your student email to receive technology.
