Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, LWTech is offering a combination of online and on-campus classes for Summer and Fall quarters. This decision was made for the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. The College is relying on guidance from the Office of the Governor, Washington State Public Health, King County Public Health, and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
Only students in classes with “F” or “B” classes are permitted on campus Summer and Fall quarter. Students will only be permitted on campus during the scheduled lab days and times. Specific instructions will be sent to these students regarding protocols for their time on campus.
This is the current plan based on public health guidance. The college may change these rules depending on the changing nature of the pandemic. Students enrolled in these classes should be prepared to be flexible. For example, an on-campus class may be moved online if the college receives guidance that this is necessary.
The college uses section codes to designate the mode of instruction. When you look at the class schedule you can find the section code right after the item number:

Summer classes are available in six-week sessions. These classes transfer and are accepted by universities!
A few courses will be run on a six-week calendar, ending August 13, remotely delivered twice a week for three hours and 30 minutes per session. The CMST course listed below is delivered asynchronously, with the timeframe for student completion of course materials shortened by two weeks.
