I-BEST at LWTech

I-BEST-support is open to all eligible students. Classes with I-BEST embedded support at Lake Washington Institute of Technology have TWO instructors in ONE classroom. One instructor is Professional-Technical or General Education faculty, and the other instructor is Adult Basic Education (ABE) or English Language Learning (ELL) faculty. As a result, I-BEST students receive more attention and assistance in their classes. With more academic support, I-BEST classes increase student success, so students can start certificates earlier, complete degrees faster, and gain the education they need to pursue their chosen careers!

Whether you want to upgrade your skills with a short certificate or complete an Associate degree at LWTech, taking classes with I-BEST embedded support can assist you in meeting your goals. Students in certificate programs with I-BEST embedded support benefit from the added support at the beginning of their college journey and gain the confidence they need to enter the workforce and/or continue their education.
