Once all New Student Orientation processes are complete, students can apply for the
RN-BSN or Nursing AAS-T programs through the Selective Admission Portal. Please visit

process.
Nursing Assistant students are required to complete requirements before joining the

We are proud of the many pathway options our students have to complete an Applied Bachelor’s degree, at LWTech, and at in-state universities and colleges. All degrees, whether DTA/MRP, AAS-T or AAS, can fulfill transfer requirements at multiple institutions thanks to the articulation (transfer) agreements between LWTech and the transfer college. An applied bachelor's degree can improve your chances in the job market and help you make more money.

You can choose to enter the workforce after completing your program or continue your education to expand your career options over time. Here are some examples of what that path can look like:
Start working after your certificate
After completing the Nursing Assistant Certificate of Completion you may be prepared for entry-level roles such as:
- Nursing Assistant
- Home Care Aide
- Personal Care Aide
Continue your education and advance your career
After completing the Nursing Assistant Certificate of Completion you could also continue to complete the Health Sciences AAS-T, which may prepare you to pursue roles such as:
- Health Educator
- Community Health Worker
The Health Sciences AAS-T will also prepare you to pursue a bachelor’s degree program.
Examples of bachelor’s degree options include:
- Public Health at LWTech
- Applied Management – Entrepreneurship at LWTech
- Healthcare Informatics, Health Promotion and Management, or Health Management and Leadership at Bellevue College
