Requesting a Posthumous Degree

Lake Washington Institute of Technology may grant a posthumous degree to recognize the academic achievement of a student who completed 75%, or more, of their degree requirements but passed away before graduating. Posthumous degrees may be requested by a college employee or immediate family member of the deceased student.

Please complete the Posthumous Degree Request Form to initiate the process. The Vice President of Student Services, Ruby Hayden will respond as soon as possible.
