LWTech is committed to helping all students be successful. Below is a list of resources at both LWTech and local community based and government organizations that students can reach out to for support and funding.
The LWTech Resource Coordinator is here to help you explore and navigate different resources in the community and on campus. If you are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, financial hardship, and/or in need of other basic needs support, please contact Maret Carrillo or complete the Community Resources Intake Form for help in locating support services and emergency assistance.
If you are experiencing a housing crisis (behind on your rent, facing eviction, or currently unhoused), additional supports may be available. Contact the Resource Coordinator, Maret Carrillo or complete the Community Resources Intake Form for more information.

- Student Emergency Grant Application, LWTech: LWTech has limited emergency funding available for registered students who have a current financial emergency during the current academic quarter.
- Financial Assistance, Hopelink: Hopelink Financial Assistance Program provides emergency financial assistance related to eviction prevention and move in costs.
- Food, Cash, Medical, DSHS: WA State Department of Social and Health Services can provide financial assistance depending on eligibility.
- Financial Resources, Washington Connection: The Washington Connection site offers a list of financial resources including government assistance, credit counseling and free tax preparation.
- Community Stabilization Services, Jewish Family Service: Jewish Family Service offers short term, limited financial assistance to cover unexpected financial shock, such as job losses, interruptions in income, or unexpected expenses that threaten a household’s stability.
- Help Center, St. Vincent de Paul: St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County. St. Vincent de Paul helps people avoid eviction by providing rent and utility assistance as well as vouchers for gasoline, food, and other basic supplies.

- Attain Housing Rental Assistance: Call the Stable Home line to apply for assistance at: (425) 828-0489 or apply online.
- Salvation Army: Provides financial assistance to overcome poverty.
- Neighborhood House: Provides emergency assistance for individuals living in Seattle.
- North Helpline: Provides financial assistance to prevent homelessness and utility shut-offs to those living in Lake City and Bitter Lake areas of Seattle. They also have a food bank.
- UCEF: Provides assistance with rent, electrical bills, or move-in costs for people living in North Seattle.
- Multi-Service Center (South King County): Provides one-time rent assistance to individuals and families living in Renton, SeaTac, Burien, Kent, Federal Way, and Auburn. Call: (253) 893-0024 or apply online.
- Kent UMC Shared Bread Emergency Assistance: Provides help with eviction notices or utility notices to those living within the Kent School District. Call: (253) 852-0993.
- Financial Empowerment Network: Find resources online about credit, budgeting, banking, and other financial wellness topics.

- 2-1-1 : Call the number 2-1-1 for information about local agencies providing emergency assistance, housing assistance, nearest food banks, and much more.
- DEN Food Pantry at LWTech: Located in the East Mall, next to the Wellness Center and across from the Bookstore. Students can access whenever they need to.
- Little Free Pantries: These pantries are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No ID is required and anyone is welcome to give and receive food from them. They are a no-barrier access point to food. See map online for local food pantries near you.
- Nourishing Networks: Search various food resources by city on the Eastside.
- Renewal Food Bank: All are welcome. Pet food available also: 15022 Bel-Red Road, Bellevue.
- Eastside Salvation Army: Food pantry and free hot meals Monday - Friday 5:30pm - 7:00pm at 911 164th Ave NE, Bellevue, 98008. Call: (425)452-7300.

- LWTech - Dental Clinic: On-campus dental clinic offers quality dental care. Staffed by students, licensed dentists and hygienists, and certified dental assistants.
- CISC - Healthcare Access: Provides free, unbiased and confidential help with Medicare and health care choices from Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA). Assistance available in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
