Drop-in Advising

Drop-in advising is available in-person and virtual (via Zoom or phone). Drop-in hours are designed for LWTech students who have questions that can be addressed in 15 minutes or less. They are first-come, first-served time to meet with an advisor without an appointment. This is ideal for current/continuing students.  Drop-in advising is the fastest way to connect to an advisor for any urgent questions or concerns. New students are strongly encouraged to schedule an advising appointment.

Please note: Office hours are different from general advising drop-in hours.

Virtual Drop-in Hours Location

• If you click the button outside of our published hours, no one will be available to assist you.
• Please note that due to the high volume of students accessing drop-in, you may have to wait in the lobby for up to 30 minutes or more.
• Please have your ctcLink ID# and placement information readily available.
• You are not required to have your camera on to participate in the Zoom session.

General Advising Drop-in Hours

Prior to meeting with an advisor through drop-in, students must have completed the following:

1. Apply for Admission
2. Activate your LionsLink Account
3. Determine English and Math Placement
